You put a lot of time and effort into your tribute for Brian. It is comforting to know there are at least 2,006 bloggers from many places upon this earth, that will take time to honor someone.
Makes me proud to have been a part of this blog tribute.
Brian, since I know a little bit about you now, It makes me vow, never to forget, and to fight hatred that killed so many good people like you.

Thanks, folks.

Unexpectedly, I did get some more information from a posting by an old friend of Mr. Martineau's. He'd lost touch with him after high school and didn't know he was dead -- until he watched the memorial show today. He kindly linked to this post, which is how I found out.

You did a great job with your tribute to Brian. The poem made me cry.

We lost so much that day. It is important to remember.

I wrote about <a HREF="http://www.myownthoughts.com/2006/09/06/laura-gilly/" rel="nofollow">Laura Gilly.</a> I too hope her family does not find it intrusive.
