Time Travel

Seven minutes of footage from San Francisco before the earthquake, set to music.

This is really incredible to watch. And boy, for 1905, they sure had a lot of cars. Rich town.

(UPDATE: Apparently the guy had some friends with cars, and asked them to drive around to make his footage more interesting.)

It’s amusing to see people notice the camera….

Another version, with some of the PD film repaired.

A sequel from after the earthquake and fire. Almost ten minutes of footage from the same streetcar, but with a lot sadder scenery.
