Two small documentaries about the Battle of Midway, filmed by John Ford and his crew during the actual battle. One was a private tribute to the men of Torpedo Squadron 8, for their families to see the last footage of them before they didn’t come back.
I didn’t see these the other day and I’d never heard of the private one, but Wonderduck linked them on one of his Midway posts.
