The Lia Fail on the Hill of Tara (Teamhair) was damaged in June by some jerk with a hammer, who stole even the shards.
On the bright side, they’ve found evidence of Ys, the Drowned Cantrefs, Lochlann, cities underwater, and the whole Land-under-Wave thing that’s always been a Celtic commonality. Paleontologists and geologists and biologists have long been pretty sure that the land had dropped and the North Sea risen, since all those animals had to get to the islands somehow. But now there are nice pictures of the additional land that used to be there.
No bells or convents or fairy palaces found under the water, though.
