So yeah, I’m redecorating the blog with Thomas Cole’s painting “The Pic-Nic.” It doesn’t look like anywhere around my house, but it does look pretty. Even if we’re all in the midst of high summer, not fall.
The people who run Thomas Cole’s house have a pretty nice website, with lots of info.
My actual favorite thing by Cole is his great fantasy artwork, “The Architect’s Dream,” which is huge and takes up a whole room’s wall at the Toledo Art Museum.
