Robin Hood and His 108 Merry Men, or Tales from the Water Margin

Among the great classics of Chinese literature are also some action-adventure stories! Tales from the Water Margin, aka All Men Are Brothers, tells the story of 108 bandits hanging out on Mt. Liang, sneaking around through the forests, and wreaking havoc on corrupt officials and bad government.

I haven’t actually read this sucker, but one must continue one’s education, right? And naturally there’s been TV series adaptations, and here’s one.

The story’s apparently also been adapted as a series of videogames called Suikoden (which is “Water Margin” in Japanese).
