Museums Are More Fun If You Can Read the Exhibits

Museums are fun anyway, but yeah, it definitely helps to be able to make out the text of inscriptions or the music of songs.

Here’s a Jewish guy who went to Yeshiva school, and thus was able to read a Maimonides letter.

The article also talks about President Truman’s vital role in recognizing Israel as a state — which isn’t actually something I’ve ever heard brought up before, even in Truman information that was practically hagiography.
